The AriStar 220 watt RV solar charging kit is an intermediate solar power system system to provide you with a decent amount of power on a day to day basis. This kit is very popular with out full time RV'ers or folks a lot of time traveling.
Our 220 watt RV solar kit comes complete and ready to install. The only thing not included in the box is the labor to put it all together. Believe me, if we could find a way to squeeze it in there, we would.
Your kit comes with 2 Mitsubishi 110 watt solar panels, solar panel mounting feet and well nut kit to secure to the roof, 25 feet of sunlight and water resistant tray cable ( no conduit necessary ), safety fuse and Go Power 25 amp charge controller. Nice controller, digital display, battery capacity meter built in and great 5 year warranty.
The Mitsubishi 110 watt solar panels measure 26" x 56" each and under most sunlight conditions will produce about 1100 watts of power per day. That's enough to keep up with your lights, water pump, furnace blower, some TV / DVD use, and if you have an inverter, some microwave, coffee pot or other smaller plug-in item use. If you don't have an inverter you can order one off of our RV inverters page or you can purchase the 220 kit with an inverter listed a little further down the RV kits page.
This kit is usually in stock and ready to ship out anytime. We typically ship out UPS or FedEx Ground and a freight estimate is about $55-$75 depending on your location in the US. There is no sales tax charged on orders outside of California.
A good battery bank for this kit would four 6 volt or four 12 volt batteries. Diagrams on how to hook up batteries together are always available from us.
