The weekender cabin kit is a low cost cabin system designed for minimal power needs at your vacation cabin for short term use. It does not come with batteries as they are available just about anywhere and cost a fortune to ship. A recommended battery bank for this kit is 2-4 x 6 volt golf cart batteries or 2-4 x 12 volt deep cycle batteries.
This kit will generate enough power day to day to power a couple lights in the evening( compact fluorescent ), a small TV / DVD player ( 1 movie ), a small water pump and some microwave use / coffee pot use.
The main differences between these kits and the E-Power kits is that the E-Power kits have heavy duty inverter with built in chargers for supplemental generator charging and also include the batteries. These weekender kits are here to provide a lower cost entry-level alternative to the E-Power kits.
