   Sizing the proper size for your pool is simple with our easy to follow formula below.  To rougly calculate the necessary size of your pool heating system you'll need to...

CALCULATE THE SQUARE FOOTAGE OF YOUR POOL

MULTIPLY THE SQUARE FOOTAGE BY .6

   This number will give you the square footage of solar heat collector necessary to heat your swimming pool.  Divide this number by 40 and that will give you the approximate number of boxes of solar heat collector you will need.  Then add a system kit and a 3 way valve or automatic controller and you're ready to order.

Sound easy?  It is...Here's an example.

My pool is a 15 foot x 30 foot rectangular pool.  -  15x30 = 450 square feet,   450 square feet x .6 = 270 square feet of solar heat collector.  270 square feet divided by 40 ( the number of square feet of collector per box ), gives me a total of 7 boxes of collector necesary to heat the pool.

7 boxes of collector, 1 system kit, and a 3 way valve...Head to the order page and you're good to go!
