Most deep cycle and automotive batteries are scrapped long before they are actually worn out.  They get to the point where they will no longer accept a charge or will not hold it for very long.  I'm sure most of you know exactly what I mean.  Whether it's a solar battery, car, motorcycle, golf cart, or really any other type of battery.  They just aren't working anymore.  Well, the reason for this is that when a battery is used frequently or sits without use for any extended period of time a process call sulfation occurs.  Sulfation is a material that forms on the internal plates of a battery eventually covering the useful parts of the battery plates that generate electricity.  Once this process occurs, the battery will no longer accept a charge or will not hold it for very long and you usually end up heading down to the battery shop for a new battery.

Well, you no longer have to!  Working with our friends up at ProTec International we have begun re-conditioning these sulfated batteries using a combination of a chemical battery additive and special charging system designed specifically to work with it to break up this sulfation and restore the battery to near new capacity.  The process works on any type of flooded lead acid battery.  We have successfully reconditioned deep cycle solar and golf cart batteries with excellent results, automotive batteries, truck batteries, and many others.  The process takes only a day or so and by re-conditioning these batteries we're saving our customers money by lengthening the batteries life by another 1-3 years or even longer, helping the planet out by keeping these batteries out of landfills, and bringing life back into what was once considered a junk battery.
